Police ask public’s help in finding Peter Lim

THE Police Regional Office (PRO) 7 in a press conference yesterday admitted they don’t know where businessman, Peter Lim is, two days after an arrest warrant was issued against him.

Senior Supt. Angelito Dumangeng, deputy regional for operations, said they encouraged the public to help them locate Lim.

“Nasaan ba siya? Hinahanap natin siya and we encourage the public to tell us his whereabouts (Where is he? We’re looking for him),” Dumangeng said.

Asked if they think Lim’s camp to be “armed and dangerous,” Dumangeng said they hoped the arrest of Lim doesn’t result to any violence.

“Speculations lang. We do not want that, and our police officers are just there to enforce the law. Hindi naman siguro hahantong sa ganun (I don’t think it will lead into violence),” he said.

Senior Insp. Dindo Alaras, Mabolo Police Station chief, said that they are also waiting for the official warrant of arrest.

The court specifically ordered the Mabolo police to be the one to serve Lim’s warrant.

Alaras also revealed that Lim is now “not detected in their radar.”

“We are still waiting for the official arrest warrant from the court. We have ten days to serve it,” he said. (JOB)
