THE Muslim Sunglass Vendors Association will have to look for another leader as the alleged association's head was arrested on Wednesday in an anti-drug buy bust operation.
Mackay Mapalao, who said he is the head of the said organization, was arrested at Burnham Park at around 1:00 p.m on Wednesday.
Aside from the said association, Mapalao was also identified as a member of a notorious local drug group in the city.
He is included in the Watch List of Drug Personalities in the region.
Mapalao was nabbed after he allegedly sold a half gram of shabu to a drug law enforcement officer of the Philippine Drug enforcement Agency (PDEA) posing as a buyer in an operation at Pinsao Pilot Project.
The said shabu has an estimated street cost of P5,000.
Mapaloa will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
