FROM what started out as a hobby, Kimberly Ramos has turned into into a business supplying delectable sweets to her clients.

Ramos said Sweeties Desserts was born out of her love for food.

"Since I was in grade school, I was a food lover already. I watched and helped my mom and our maids whenever they make their specialties. Through that passion to learn, my mom enrolled me on kid’s culinary summer workshops every summer," she said.

Ramos, who is a self-taught baker, said she started her food venture on August 4, 2017 when she made her aunt an Almond Mango Float on her birthday.

"Everybody loved it and I decided to give it a shot in selling online and it turns out it was a hit. So I thought of expanding in cheesecakes, which Ireally love to eat," Ramos said.

For the cheesecakes, she started selling the blueberry and mango cheesecakes, both were a hit to her customers. At present, she has around 20 kinds of cheesecakes.

"Next were cupcakes and luscious cakes," Ramos said. For her foray into cupcakes, she made the Red Velvet and Chocolate Cupcakes while for the cakes, she has ther Fruity Cake, Dark Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Mousse Drip Cake, and Red Velvet Cake.

Sweeties Desserts' products ranges from P285 to P1,000. Her highest priced cake is the Toblerone Cheesecake at P1,000.

Next year, she targets to make fondant cakes for birthdays, debuts, and weddings. In the future she hopes to put up her very own desserts shop.

For now, she sells her desserts online. For orders, you can message Sweeties Desserts on Facebook or text them at 0933-856-3780.
