SIXTEEN professional teams from Visayas and Mindanao attend the 1st Mayor Oscar S. Moreno Fiesta Invitational Rodeo and Livestock Show at the PN Roa Grounds, Upper Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City.
Senator Miguel Zubiri was in attendance for the rodeo and livestock show slated on August 18 to 19.
The horse show is a spectacle of horsemen events such as oval race; obstacle race; and barrel race; and was participated by horse enthusiast from Visayas and Mindanao.
Horses also competed for the best tricks and the best groomed for the event.
Councilor Jay Roa Pascual said the event was free for the public to witness.
A major core event of the fiesta, the annual horse show is organized by the Northern Mindanao Federation of Dairy Cooperatives and the Agriculture Productivity Office of the City Government of Cagayan de Oro. (PJ Orias)
