KISAN Lu Lands and Development Inc. did it again and it was of no surprise.

Whenever we say Pamulak sa Kadayawan (floral float parade), Kisan Lu has always been in the picture since 2015. For this year, the homegrown developer bagged anew the grand prize of the competition in the Dako (Big) category besting six other contingents.

Kisan Lu's float went beyond the expectation of the Dabawenyos and it can be seen through the revelers' and visitors' faces whenever the giant floral float passes their way.

Kisan Lu CEO Architect Kristin L. Lu said this another milestone is a product of the company's employees' hard work and teamwork.

"We are so happy that we have contributed colors to the celebration of Kadayawan Festival. This is a celebration of unity among the KLLDI employees for the bayanihan spirit to materialize such float for almost three months in production," she said.

She added that they poured more budget than the cash prize they get just to realize their float.

"For the love of our city. This is our way of supporting the city and making the Dabawenyos excited every time we join the Pamulak parade," she said.

KLLDI took home P700,000 as grand prize. The company also won in the same competition in 2015 and 2016.

The annual Pamulak sa Kadayawan is one of the highlights of the celebration that features different floral floats adorned with indigenous materials, colorful flowers, bountiful harvest, and the rich culture of the 11 tribes in the city.
