“PEPPER got severely infected with Mange when she was three months old. It was hard to see her go through a lot of treatments. I spent all my allowance to buy her medicine and to bring her to the vet for check-ups. She became very weak and I thought that she might not get better at all. Feeling hopeless, I cried, but to my surprise she walked toward me and licked my hand—as if telling me that everything was going to be fine. Gladly, after continuous treatments, she was able to fully recover. I’m so proud of how strong and brave she was despite all the pain that she went through.”
What’s the best thing about your pet?
“Her presence is therapeutic to everyone in our family. She is also independent. She doesn’t pee or poo inside the house.”
What tip can you give people who want to be responsible pet owners?
“Make your pets part of the family, and always give them the time and care they need for as long as they live.”
