Lim’s workers told: give info to police

CEBU City Police Office (CCPO) Director Royina Garma urged businessman Peter Lim’s employees to give information on their boss’ whereabouts.

Garma said that the police won’t stop until they find Lim.

“Even if wala siya dun sa mga bahay niya (he’s no longer at home), that will not stop the police from looking for him as long as there’s a warrant,” Garma said.

She urged Lim’s employees to tip the police, assuring them their identities will be hidden.

“The best gawin diyan is yung mga tao like yung mga servants niya, driver niya baka pwede naman for now you provide information sa government. You may be earning money from him now because of the protection but what will be the future of your children and your children’s children?” Garma said.

She said that Lim’s arrest will be a big help to the government’s anti-drug war, saying that it’s the businessman’s right to have a fair trial.

The arrest warrant will be returned to the Makati Trial Court for the issuance of an alias warrant, which has no expiration and can be served anywhere in the country.

Last Monday, police went to Lim’s residences in Barangays Kasambagan and Barangay Banilad to serve his arrest warrant, but he couldn’t be found. (JOB)
