I GRADUATED from the University of Baguio (UB) Science High School in 1984.
My hubby, Tolitz from Prep. High in the same year. My daughter Dr. Karla Anjeli took up her nursing at UB and likewise with my son Karu, also a graduate of this prestigious university.
The learning experience was indeed a big leap into Karu’s fashion designing career at present, after an exchange program to Nagasaki Wesleyan University through the prodding and care of Terry Chio and Jodes Romero.
My memories of UB Science High - Emmett Brown Asuncion, Anita Pobre, Atty. Senando Esteban and Edong Rillorta and other professors still linger on. I recall Eleazar Demayo, now the Pres. of alumni association (UBAFI), was in the C.A.T. in my high school days. Seeing professors from the UB Preparatory School was heartwarming.
Witnessing, experiencing and covering for the FAMERS (August 11, CAP Convention Center) and the UB Grand Alumni Homecoming (August 18, UB Cardinals Gym) brought cheerful memories and thanksgiving! Photos by Osharé and Lyka Angela Yao.
