RECENTLY-CROWNED back-to-back Philippines Football League champion Ceres Negros FC will meet Davao Aguilas FC in the opener of the inaugural Copa Paulino Alcantara on Saturday, September 1, at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
The Busmen are in Group A with Aguilas and Stallion Laguna FC.
Following tomorrow's games, the Busmen will meet again the Aguilas on September 22 after taking on the Stallion on September 15 and 19.
All Ceres-Negros group stage matches will be played at the Rizal Memorial Stadium with winners of both groups having a chance to host the one-game semifinal.
The finals will also be in RMS in October.
The winner of the cup will be given a slot in the group stages of the 2019 AFC Cup, Asia’s second-tier club competition.
