THE opening of “Art for Everyone” at SM Supermalls this week was another opportunity for mallgoers to discover art and creativity, look forward to works of rising stars in the art world, and indulge in the artworks of well-known local masters.

Now on its second year, “Art for Everyone” is truly that – for the everyday person to enjoy, appreciate, learn from and marvel at the works of, well, everyone – small artists to big names, all ages, all styles.

Providing more opportunities for local talents to showcase their artworks and masterpieces, SM Supermalls offers a refreshing vibe in the mall through “Art for Everyone 2018,” an exhibit and selling fair participated by art enthusiasts, hobbyists, art foundations, and renowned and upcoming artists up to September 2 at participating SM malls.

“This year, ‘Art for Everyone’ will give mallgoers meaningful reasons to bond with loved ones as we bring this fun-filled celebration of art, creativity, and family fun moments closer to them in 23 malls across the country,” said Jonjon San Agustin, SM Supermalls SVP for marketing.

At SM Megamall’s Art for Everyone, customers can check out the “Light Up Your Mood” experiential exhibition, an interactive display that fuses human emotion and technology through compelling art installations. The exhibit features 100 glowing emoji balls which shoppers can have fun with as they show happy or sad faces. In partnership with SeekLab, the emboli balls light up and change colors to reflect the shopper’s mood.

At SM City Bacolod, “Art for Everyone” opened with featuring over 500 art pieces from over 30 participating artists.

Aside from Megamall and SM Bacolod, similar exhibits also opened at the following SM venues: The Podium, Mall of Asia, Aura Premier, Southmall, Novaliches, San Jose Del Monte, Sta. Mesa, Angono, Marikina, Sucat, Muntinlupa, Cabanatuan, Telabastagan, Bacoor, Santa Rosa, Batangas, Lucena, Naga, Cebu, Bacolod, Davao, and Cagayan De Oro Downtown.

Have an art-filled weekend by bonding and spending time with loved ones, and celebrate Filipino art in fun and exciting ways in selected SM malls. (PR)
