Pangan: MCG is unbeatable in 2019

WITH the rate the accomplishments of his administration are documented, witnessed and made known to many of his constituents, Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo is deemed unbeatable in the 2019 elections.

Backstopped by his formidable team of: Rosan Paquia who does a remarkable quarterbacking job of the city operations and management, Patrick Fiel Sacay, the Executive Assistant who's supposed to be the alter ego of the Mayor, Atty. Emmanuel E. Ignacio, the city legal officer who, some quarters claim, takes so much time to act on documents and papers presented to him, along with Atty. Aileen C. Rigor, CPA, the city accountant, Narce Paquia, the city budget officer and Marlene Molina Mendiola, the City Treasurer, the good mayor has run a well-oiled machinery on local governance.

Why not spend the money on things beneficial to our city mates, Mayor Garbo declares. After all, the city is awash with cash, the people’s money which we should spend frugally and for a purpose, he adds.

Truly, the taxpayers' money is well spent on the citizens' basic needs and services which include total healthcare, treatment and hospitalization.

If someone dies in the family, there is the burial assistance, the coffin even provided by MCG.

We have several hospitals to care for the sick and needy, says Mayor Garbo, so the citizens need not worry.

Indeed, if you spend some time at the Mayor's waiting room, you would witness an endless stream of callers, with different needs and purposes, being attended to very well by the Mayor's staff, for, again, says the Mayor, no one should be left unattended.

Several projects have already been laid out and done and many more, including that in Barangay Mabiga, for the new City Government Center will be implemented soon.

Rosan, the hardworking city administrator, does his boss proud, with his amiable quality and approachable demeanor. As the yeoman of the Garbo's administration, he truly excels.
