THE Zonta Club Cebu 1 responds to the thrust of Zonta International on “Violence Against Women: Teenage Pregnancy” for Biennium 2018-2020.
All programs will align with this thrust in selected advocacy, education, health, livelihood and selected projects, and will be disseminated by the team on public relations, program and linkages through tri-media and social networking; community and school plays; forums and success stories. On top of all these efforts will be the incumbent president Minnie Yuvienco.
The opening salvo of the 50th anniversary and Biennium programs of Zonta Club of Cebu is on Nov. 8, with partners Ayala Center Cebu and GMA-7; schools and civic clubs, among others. The 888 Forum will be a major media outlet with MyTV through the “Straight from the Sky” program of Bobit Avila. The 13 days of activism of Zonta 1 will start on Nov. 25 with relevant activities to be planned by the members, and covered by the tri-media. The event will have multiplier effects and will involve as many partners and sponsors of Zonta 1.
