To improve the working conditions of 48,000 Filipinos in Jordan, the two countries signed a cooperation framework for employment of domestic workers and an MOU on labor cooperation.

An MOU was also inked between the Jordan Investment Commission and the Board of Investments of the Philippines.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan and the Department of Foreign Affairs also signed an MOU on political consultations.

With regard to the recognition of certificates under the terms of the 1978 Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers Convention, an agreement was signed between Jordan Maritime Commission and the Maritime Industry Authority of the Philippines.

Meanwhile, Speacial Assistant to the President Christopher Lawrence Go said Jordan has donated two Cobra attack helicopters to the Philippines.
