Pineda: Willie Revillame says GMA gives higher talent fee

DURING the birthday party of one of ABS-CBN's Director Edgar “Bobot” Mortiz, Willie Revillame came into a surprise.

Willie even jokes GMA-7 gives higher salaries compared to his former home network ABS-CBN. Willie is heard teasing Vhong Navarro and other hosts of the ABS-CBN noontime show.

Willie said with a laugh, “Showtime? Huy, timeslot ko yun ha! Kinuha niyo!”

Bobot was described by Willie as his “mentor.”

Ogie teased Willie by saying, “May budget ka ba? Mini-Cooper lang, masaya na yun.”

Willie asked the other celebrities to come near him as he asked, “ABS-CBN ka pa ba? Malaki magbayad ang GMA,” Willie told Tirso Cruz III who asked back: “Malaki ba?”

Willie turned to Ogie Alcasid and asked him if it's true that the Kapuso Network gives a high talent fee.

Ogie answered, “Mas malaki sa...”

Willie ended his sentence by blurting out, “TV5!

“Yumaman kami dun!” exclaimed the former host of TV5's game shows.

Willie defended himself by saying, “Hindi totoo yun.”

He became the host of the GMA-7 game show Wowowin in 2015.

In 2016, Ogie left TV5 and joined ABS-CBN via It's Showtime's “Tawag ng Tanghalan” segment.

Magandang Buhay host Melai Francisco is proud to have husband Jason Francisco as a loving and dedicated father to their children Stela and Mela.

Melai shared some of her observations about Jason when it comes to taking care of their children.

The Magandang Buhay host said: “Very strict, wala yun talaga.

Melai jokingly said that even she gets to experience Jason's strict side as a dad every time she brings any of their kids out without him.

The former Pinoy Big Brother housemate said in jest: Kapag dala ko ang mga anak ko, pag uwi ko, pagalitan ako ni boss. Charing lang!”

She continued, “Every now and then, kagaya ngayon, nagte-text, ‘O, ang anak mo, ha, ang pawis sa likod, ha?’

One proud thing she recalled about Jason was how he was able to teach Mela to limit her screen time.

Meron siyang pa-timer, marami siyang mga paraphernalia, kumbaga parang ganun. Kunyare, ‘Magwa-watch ka sa iPad Mela, you have a timer.’ So sinusunod niya.”

Melai noted that setting house rules is important even at their kids' precocious age.

The couple's first daughter is now four years old, while Stela just turned one.

When asked if Melai thinks her daughter would be interested in joining showbiz soon, the TV host is proud that her daughter is starting to discover her talents.

However, Melai said Jason prefer their children to live a normal childhood away from the limelight.
