TEAM Rich Catsup took the driver’s seat over San Remigio Beach Club after Round 3 of the 2018 Rich Sweet & Spicy Banana Catsup Tenpin Bowling Invitational Tournament last Friday at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.
Rich Catsup continued to play consistent all-tournament long and finally got the lead with an aggregate score of 7,536 heading to the fourth and final round on Sept. 14.
Rich Catsup was at third place in the opening round then climbed to second spot in the next round before eventually taking a slim 12-point edge after the third round. The team flashed scores of 800, 847 and a day’s best of 883 in the third round.
The erstwhile leader San Remigio Beach Club dropped to second place but is not far behind with a total score of 7,524. San Remigio Beach Club scored 860, 800 and 812 in the third round.
The first-round leader E.O Bucoy Consultants 2 sit at third place after scoring 722, 832 and 840 in the third for an aggregate score of 7,333 in the four-to-count team tournament.
Nestor Longcanaya of Rich Catsup and Cynthia Kua and Chanieka Team won the individual honors. Longcanaya scored 236 and Kua fired 180 for the men’s and women’s highest individual singles scores for third round.
Rich Catsup is the back-to-back awardee for the highest team single score with 883 in the third round after scoring a 905 in the second round. E.O Bucoy Consultants 2 won the award in the first round with 895.
The rest of the Top 10 teams are RRCC&J Team (7,038), E.O Bucoy Consultants 1 (7,036), Chanieka (7,014), D’ Unli Team (6,929), D Underdog (6,658), Cetba Juniors I (5,964) and Cetba Juniors II (5,827). RSC
