A SUSPECTED drug pusher was killed while two of his cohorts escaped during a drug bust in Barangay San Miguel, San Simon town on Friday, September 7.

Senior Superintendent Nicolas Salvador, Pampanga Provincial Police Office acting director, identified the fatality as Alexander Cuneta of Barangay Cutud, City of San Fernando.

Salvador said the Drug Enforcement Unit of San Simon Police conducted a drug bust operation against Cuneta and his companions.

He said Cuneta drew his gun when he sensed the presence of policemen.

This prompted the operatives to retaliate killing on the spot Cuneta while his cohorts managed to escape on board a motorcycle.

Recovered from the slain suspect were a caliber 38 revolver, a sachet of suspected shabu, and P500 marked money. (Ric Sapnu)
