Pangan: Mayor Garbo's sustained health programs

MABALACAT CITY'S Mayor Crisostomo C. Garbo has a full healthcare programs for 2018 and he intends to increase the budget, and reach, of these programs for the coming years.

In his syllabus of health programs given to partner hospitals, clinics and healthcare institutions clinic schedules for ophtalmology, surgery, pedia urology, internal medicine, oncology, ob-gyne and treatment

schedules are laid out for the public to use and observe.

In the same program prospectus, emergency numbers of the Office of the Mayor for burial assistance, fire station and the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office are reflected for the public's info

and use.

It also presents the functions of the City Social Welfare and Development Office in dispensing requirements for hemodialysis or chemotheraphy, burial assistance, medical assistance and hospital bills. Also reflected therein are the requirements for the acquisition of the solo parent I.D., namely: barangay certificate of indigency, affidavit for being solo parent, birth certificate of minor child and pictures. For widows/widowers solo parent, the requirements are: barangay certificate of indigency, death certificate of husband or wife, birth certificate of minor child and pictures of solo parent.

Feeding programs. Also sustained in the Mayor's healthcare program are the feeding activities for schoolchildren of various city schools and barangays. The mayor has a full schedule for the year 2018 and plans to continue with the program for the ensuing year.

The Mabalacat City government, headed by Mayor Crisostomo C. Garbo and the people it represents, enjoy a robust parallel development with the Clark Development Corporation. CDC participates in the development programs of the city, including infrastructure like roads and bridges and employment and, in the exercise of its corporate social responsibility, donates school buildings

computer equipment and manpower complement.

Mabalacat City College, headed by my sister, Dr. Carmelita P. Sotto, was a recipient of CDC's benevolence through physical facilities to provide its students a conducive venue for sports and other activites.

CDC encourages its locators and investors to consider Mabalacat City's welfare through faithful compliance of their tax obligations which the City Government receives via Gross Income Earned (GIE)

amounting to about P600 million, a big boost indeed to the city's financial standing.

The City Planning and Development Office, headed by Rosan S. Paquia, keeps tab of the links between CDC and the City Government.

Included in the planning stages of CPDC are the various programs beneficial to both the city and the state-owned agency.
