THREE suspected drug personalities, including a minor, were caught in a drug bust around 2:20 p.m. Tuesday, September 11, in Purok Gemelina, Barangay Cogon, Cordova, Cebu.

Cordova Police Station Chief Efren Diaz Jr. said their target, Jelly "Eling" Sumalingo Baguio, 30, was arrested with two alleged junkies.

The alleged users were identified as Alvin Dinoy Abaño, 28, and his 17- year-old cousin.

Diaz said Baguio had been identified as a street level target and included in the police station's list of drug personalities in the municipality.

Seized from the suspects were 15.39 grams of white crystals believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu.

The contraband is worth P181,602, a Dangerous Drugs Board value.

Baguio also yielded a.357 revolver loaded with six live bullets.

The suspects will face complaints for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Selling shabu is a non-bailable offense.

A separate complaint for illegal possession of firearm will be filed against Baguio. (KAL)
