EVERYONE who knows how to have a good time with ice-cold beer and good night's party, also knows that the best after-party food is a hot soup of bulalo. What if we tell you that here in Davao City, you can find a great party destination with a good bulalo place right next door?

Just recently, a new Bulalo House opened in Obrero, Davao City just beside BEEReaucracy Bar, an already go-to place of Dabawenyos for a good feel of the night life especially during Fridays and Saturdays night.

Owners DJ Torch Gacuma, resident DJ at Beeraucracy Bar, Jet Veloso, owner of the said bar, couple Nico Lopez and Imma Lopez, and Jack Vorozheykin all collaborated for an idea of bringing a good after-drink comfort food closer to where the party actually is.

#BKitchen just opened during the last week of August and had since attracted people from different generations, not only the party crowd. The reason? Their bulalo is not just the typical bulalo we know of. A sip of its soup takes us a little back to the past as the recipe is that of Mang Tura Signature Bulalo, one of the pioneering bulaloan in Davao City more than a decade ago.

According to Torch Gacuma, his parents were the one who started the Mang Tura and never did he imagine that he would also acquire it now. During the opening of #BKitchen, people who grew up eating Mang Tura's Bulalo came and let their children and other friends taste the soup of their childhood as well. Others reminisced saying it was the same bulalo they have tasted when they were still dating their then-boyfriend or girlfriend, and now their spouse already.

The tender meat is well complemented by the tasty soup. The corn's taste does not interrupt the meaty flavor on the soup as well. As for bone marrow lovers, fret not for they have prepared popsicle stick to help you scrape out those stubbornly delicious bone marrow. They also serve rice generously.

Jet Veloso, said as much as they want to bring bulalo and other after-party meals closer to the crowd of BEEReaucracy Bar, they are also not limited to these people as well. Because #BKitchen is a 24-hour restaurant, they are also very much welcome to cook for and provide sumptuous meal for call center workers, students doing an all-nighter study, and random Dabawenyos who feel hungry at the middle of the night.

Aside from bulalo, they also serve lechon kawali, Mang Tura Signature Balbacua, goto, tokwa't baboy, adobong tenga, and pork kilawin. Visit #BKitchen now and experience good bulalo soup anytime of the day.
