A 58-YEAR-OLD man was shot dead at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, September 12, on Hernan Cortes Street in Barangay Cabancalan, Mandaue City, Cebu.
The fatality was identified as Johnsomm Chiaoco, a resident of Greenville Heights Subdivision in Barangay Tolo-Tolo, Consolacion, Cebu.
The gunman was unidentified as he wore a bonnet.
Investigation showed Chiaoco disembarked from his pick-up truck when the suspect approached him and shot him in the head.
Chiaoco succumbed to a gunshot wound in the right side of his head.
Police are still investigating the motive behind the attack. (KAL)
