PRIMED for jet-setting was SM City Cebu’s eighth edition of its high-fashion series “Glitterati” this time with a travel theme “Style Take-Off” in partnership with Cathay Pacific Airways (CX) at The Northwing atrium.
In line with tradition, this city’s young sophisticates paraded three Cathay Pacific personas: Misadventures, Family and Business, representing SM’s best-loved clothing brands: Arrow, Espada, Hedgren, Levi’s, Loalde, Columbia, Forever 21, Mango, Terranova, Promod and The Travel Club.
Cathay, on the other hand, flashed onscreen its eight new hubs set to be launched this year: Brussels, Copenhagen and Dublin in Europe; Seattle, Washington DC in the United States; Cape Town in Africa and Nanning and Jinan in the Asia Pacific region.
As event host, the pretty Blinky de Leon delivered her spiel. We took note of travel-inspired outfits by three of Cebu’s best designers: Arcy Gayatin, Edwin Ao and Protacio.
