WILL former E.B. Magalona mayor and now Board Member David Albert Lacson make a come back bid in his hometown and challenge incumbent Mayor Marvin Malacon in the 2019 elections?
Lacson and Malacon were allies during the 2016 elections despite that the former’s cousin, former board member Patrick Lacson, lost to Malacon in the mayoral race.
When asked for comment, Board Member Lacson said he is still undecided at this time.
"I am at peace being a board member but nothing definite yet as of this time," Lacson said.
He said they keep in touch with each other and talks about their friendship.
When asked about the picture posted on social media by contractor/businessman Jose Lindy Chan with him, Malacon and Talisay City Councilor Samuel Siote, Lacson said it doesn't tell anything about politics.
The picture was taken last week showing them at a dining table.
Lacson said he has not talked about politics with Malacon and that he will make his political decision once he has already decided.
