MAGNOLIA will hold its first fun run in Davao City, "Freedom Run 4.0”, which will kick off in an out-and-back course from Lanang Business Park on Sunday, September 16.
Magnolia marketing account specialist Fritz Gerald Capuyan bared this in Thursday's Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum held at The Annex of SM City Davao.
"It's a Freedom Run 4.0 because we wanted the public to know that our chickens are cage-free. The 4.0 also means, this Davao City leg is our fourth leg nationwide which started at Bacolod City, Iloilo City and Dumaguete City," Capuyan said.
He said the 600 slots they opened was already fully-booked, making it the biggest edition ever among the first three legs.
The run will feature three categories which include the 3K, 5K and 10K categories.
The 3K will start at Lanang Business Park heading towards Insular Hotel and vice versa while the 5K's turning is Doña Pilar Subdivision. Turning point for the 10K route is the Old Airport in Sasa.
Magnolia will give away gift certificates convertible to Magnolia products.
Capuyan added that Magnolia also plans to hold other events in the future.
