THE Land Transportation Office (LTO) yesterday said they are on track with their printing of driver’s licenses as they are putting up three temporary offset printing offices. LTO 7 Director Victor Caindec said that their temporary offset printing offices are in SM Seaside City Cebu, Island Central Mall in Mactan Island and Alturas Mall in Tagbilaran City. “So the Cebu City Licensing Office will be moved to SM Seaside. The district office will remain,” he said in an interview.
Caindec said the offset printing offices in malls have enough furniture and are equipped with cable and power, which are provided by the mall owners, following the signing of a memorandum of agreement. At present, they are installing internet connection in the areas. “The licensing center at SM Seaside City Cebu and two other offset printing offices will cover renewal of driver’s license, new licenses and student permits,” Caindec said.
