PAMPERING one’s self has now reached a different level with a new player in town. Kairi Skin Care and Nail lounge enters the competition, holding a new standard for nail clinics and spas for maximum relaxation.
Kairi is a Japanese word which means “ocean.” The skin care and nail lounge opened to the public last July. Despite being a newbie, it is already gaining attention. It is located on the second floor of GPH Central, F. Cabahug St., cor. Pres. Roxas St., Mabolo, Cebu City. (Across Castle Peak Hotel).
One of the many things notable about Kairi is its especially spacious rooms. As one enters the salon and spa, one will be treated to a room with a relaxing view. The salon also offers one room per treatment giving customers their much-deserved privacy.
Ricci Go, the brains behind Kairi, was driven by a passion for beauty and relaxation. Her love for facials, skin treatments and nails prompted the opening of Kairi, a spa meant to serve as a one-stop shop for people like her who likes treating themselves to a little bit of pampering once in a while.
“On my mother’s side, we like facials and anything for beautification. Even my grandmother at the age of 84, still likes to have these treatments. She likes having her nails done and hair colored as well,” said Ricci.
Kairi offers facial treatments, body polishing, nail care, eyelash extensions and slimming treatments, and especially takes pride in its state-of-the-art equipment and all natural products used.
“What makes us different from others is that our treatments focus on skin and body care, we don’t focus on whitening. If one does not want to whiten their skin and only hopes for it to get healthier, we can help them with that.
We also have services that will help remove cellulites and all those things,” said Ricci.
Some of the many services offered by Kairi for skin care includes Premiere Age Defying Facial, which is a treatment that contains vitamins and antioxidants that softens wrinkles for a more youthful appearance. Kairi also offers Crystal Peel where fine crystals are blown at the skin and then vacuumed. The process is said to remove dead skin and unclog pores, renewing it and giving it a fresher and healthier glow.
For an overall complete pampering, Kairi offers its one-of-a-kind Kairi Signature Revitalizing Facial. The facial combines all the treatments needed for a beautiful and healthy skin.
However, before the treatments begin, a quick consultation is done and the patients are given the option to choose which treatment would be best for their skin after an elaborate discussion on how these treatments would affect their skin.
“Our patients here are assessed first for what they need; like in facials. Our people are well-trained to assess which would be best for our patients’ skin,” said Ricci.
