FIRE victims in Barangay Boulevard and Barangay West Habog-Habog in Molo district and Barangay Veterans Village in Iloilo City center received financial assistance from the Iloilo City Government.
Mayor Jose Espinosa III distributed the financial assistance in cooperation with the City Social Welfare and Development Office, City Treasurer’s Office, Accounting Office and Budget Office.
Espinosa said Monday, September 17, that they have provided P7,000 for victims whose houses were destroyed, and P5,000 for those whose houses were damaged.
He said the release of the financial aid was fast-tracked to help the fire victims. (SunStar Philippines)
