AN ELDERLY woman and a collector of a lending firm were robbed in separate incidents in Negros Occidental in the past three days.
In Kabankalan City, Merly Del Rio, 70, of Barangay 3 discovered that her house was robbed by unidentified men by destroying the padlock of their gate last Monday, September 17.
The robbers carted away her jewelry worth P130,000.
Police will review the closed circuit television (CCTV) footage installed on her house for the possible identification of the perpetrators.
In Hinoba-an town, Gerald Gonzaga, 23, of Barangay Bal-os in Basay, Negros Oriental was robbed by unidentified men at Barangay Bacuyangan last Tuesday, September 18.
The victim was collecting payment from a client when the unidentified robbers approached him and one of them threatened him at gunpoint.
The robbers then allegedly snatched the money amounting to P20, 000 and took his motorcycle as their get-away vehicle. (GYM)
