DERRICK Monasterio did a pumping scene with Sanya Lopez for the movie Wild and Free. Derrick did several intense love scenes with Sanya. As seen in the trailer released Derrick and Sanya's characters engaged in sex scenes in different locations, such as inside the car, in a living room, and in a bedroom.
Asked Derrick about these scenes, he said, "Malala yung mga love scene. Malala kasi may mga bed scenes, tapos iba-ibang klase ng love scene, e."
According to him, they shot about "mga seven, eight" love scenes for the film produced by Regal Films. Derrick admitted that shooting those scenes were tricky.
"Ang mahirap kay Sanya, never had a boyfriend before. Hindi pa nakaka-kiss. So lahat talaga, first time niya sa akin so nagulat siya. Pero ang maganda sa kanya, sobrang game! Siya pa yung minsan, 'Ano kaya mo ba?' Gumaganon pa siya sa akin! Sige, teka! Ganun."
Derrick did not describe the scenes that they did, but it was seen in the trailer that there was a pumping scene. He said about their sexy scenes, "[May] rough sex, ganyan, kasi parang lasing. Ganun."
What was the hardest scene that they did?
"Sa totoo lang, yung first few namin, mga first two, mahirap kasi nagkakapaan pa pero yung mga huli, naku, easy!"
To prepare Derrick and Sanya for the movie, they had a one-day familiarity and sensuality workshop. Aside from being the fact that this movie is their launching film, this is also the first time that they both engaged in intimate scenes. How did he feel shooting his first love scene?
"Nakakatakot pero masaya kasi kakilala ko na si Sanya, e. Pero nakakatakot kasi nakakakaba. Kasi baka maoffend ko yung girl, mahawakan mo sa areas na hindi mo dapat mahawakan, pero buti na lang professional kaming dalawa."
How was he convinced to do love scenes for his launching movie? The Kapuso actor answered, "23 na naman ako, e, and pwede na naman. At saka kung si Sanya nga na mas bata sa akin, willing, ako pa kaya? At saka launching movie ko naman sa Regal, e. Alam ko naman na aalagaan ako."
However, there was one thing that he declined to do for the film—butt exposure. He recalled, "Gusto nga nila, noong una, magsha-shower ako tapos papakita yung pwet. Sabi ko, di kaya. Nahiya ako, at saka huwag muna." The movie, which opens on October 10, is directed by Connie S.A. Macatuno.
