A SIX-MONTH-OLD fetus was found dead in a river at Barangay Alijis in Bacolod City Friday morning September 21.
The fetus was discovered by Rolando Norbe past 9 a.m. while he was walking near the river.
Norbe, in a television interview, said he thought that it was a doll but when he came nearer, he was surprised to see that it was a fetus.
Police said the fetus was probably left somewhere and was just carried away by the water to the area.
They cannot tell if the victim was aborted or was born dead.
The Women and Children's Protection Desk (WCPD) is investigating the case.
