THE Davao-South Regional Football Association (DRFA) Grassroots Tournament 2018 opened at the Tionko field over the weekend.
The Rovers-Hyenas, Emar-Crocs, Davaoeños, and South Shield FC drew first blood.
The Rovers-Hyenas blanked Catalunan Grande, 6-0, while Emar-Crocs scored a dominating 7-0 win over Bukas Palad.
The Davaoeños, for its part, demolished Kaptian Tomas Monteverde Senior Central Elementary School-Black Knights, 10-0, as the South Shield FC crushed the Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School of Davao, 12-0.
The tournament is part of DRFA's regular grassroots development program and will run until October 28.
