DABAWENYOS now have another beauty hub to visit as Blair Cosmetics and Seoul Skin Davao opened on Saturday, September 22.

Located at Door 6, 3S Building, San Pedro Street, just across My Hotel in Davao City, the new beauty nook offers products that promise to help bring out the natural beauty and skin of everyone.

Samuel Johnson Uy, the 26-year-old owner of the beauty hub, shared his enthusiasm about this new venture during an interview right after the blessing and opening ceremony of Blair Cosmetics and Seoul Skin Davao.

When asked why a young man like him decided to open a beauty and skin care shop rather than any other “macho” type of business, Uy was quick to point out his trust on the brand.

He revealed that he has been personally using the products. That is why, he can really say that their products truly deliver their promises.

“After trying out the products and after hearing so many good reviews about them, I decided to have my own shop here,” he said, adding that the products are really in good quality and affordable as well.

With the current demand for Japanese and Korean beauty products, the opening of Blair Cosmetics and Seoul Skin Davao serves as an opportunity towards easy access for such.

Uy further noted that they are proud to share that all of their ingredients are from Japan and Korea.

Their products are registered with the Department of Health-Food and Drugs Administration and Halal-certified, too. The shop carries cosmetics from Japan and skin care items from Korea.

“Our products are proven safe. For example, our soap uses pearl extract, which is mild on the skin. It even leaves the skin smooth,” he said.

“In Davao, kung gusto kang magpaputi, tiis-ganda ka talaga (if you want your skin to be fair, you should sacrifice). Hindi ka pwedeng magpabilad sa araw (You are not allowed to expose yourself too much under the sun.) With our products, that is not the case,” he added.

Uy also said that their cosmetics boast of high quality, while their whitening products’ effect is long-term.

He added that their products don’t promise instant whitening. It would take a while before one can achieve fair complexion, but, the effect would stay longer.

On their opening day, the hub, which is the first in Mindanao, offered buy 1 take 1 promo for face mask, toner, ginger white soap, and glimmer lipstick.

Among the guests spotted at the opening were Honeylet Avanceña, presidential daughter Kitty Duterte, and actress Roxanne Barcelo.
