ILOILO City Government turned over two patrol cars to the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) on Monday, September 24, at the City Hall Grounds.

Following the patrol cars provided for the city’s quick response team, Mayor Jose Espinosa III again allotted 11 patrol cars for the local police during the Iloilo City Hall’s flag ceremony.

According to Espinosa, there are still nine police patrol cars to be turned over.

Espinosa said that ICPO Director Senior Superintendent Sr. Sup. Martin Defensor assured to monitor and properly maintain the cars.

Defensor said that they will use it for the constant patrol to intensify the security in the city.

“If they will see the red and blue lights, I want that to signify as the symbol of police presence here in the city,” he said. (Carolyn Jane Abello)
