AN INCUMBENT councilor in Angeles City said he was open to suggestions of his friends and supporters that he run for vice-mayor in the May 2019 mid-term elections.

Councilor Alfie Bonifacio said he was ready to run for vice-mayor for the sake of his constituents who always support his political bids.

Bonifacio is reportedly one of the three personalities being considered by Councilor Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin, Jr. as his runningmate.

Lazatin recently declared his mayoralty bid before officers and members of the Pampanga Press Club.

If he runs, Bonifacio will face former councilor Maricel Morales and incumbent councilor Edgardo "Edu" Pamintuan in the vice-mayoralty race.

The Partido Abe Kapampangan recently announced its candidates in the upcoming elections, including Nepomuceno for mayor and Pamintuan for vice-mayor.

Bonifacio said he has yet to decide regarding Lazatin's offer and the public clamor. "I still have a few weeks to decide, let's see," he said.
