Lacson: We will continue, enhance NOCHP

NEGROS Occidental Vice Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson assured his fellow Negrenses Monday, September 24, that he will continue and even enhance the Negros Occidental Comprehensive Health Program (NOCHP) when he becomes the governor of the province.

"Many have been asking me about NOCHP, so I would like to assure the Negrenses that I will continue the program and other programs of this administration which is beneficial to the people," Lacson said.

He said he will even have additional beneficiaries for NOCHP.

NOCHP records show that as of August 31, a total of 368,541 patients have already availed of the NOCHP program, with total hospital expenses of more than P208 million.

The health care program has already reached 276,465 member-families.

Lacson also said with the help of the government employees, they will continue to find ways to improve the province.

He also said their merger with the United Negros Alliance may not be a perfect merger but like in the previous elections, cooperation and unity will be achieved for more developments.

"We could have problems in some towns and cities in terms of opponents in the coming election but whoever becomes victorious we expect the cooperation of everybody. We have already settled those issues," he pointed out.
