THERE are only winners in a game wherein you play and save a life!

The 1st ever Kolasa Cup held on September 22 and 23 at the Negros Occidental Golf and Country Club was a collaborative success as it brought to Bacolod golf enthusiasts from all over the country to play for a worthy cause.

Organized by the St. Scholastica’s Academy Bacolod Batch ‘94 in partnership with St. Scholastica’s Bacolod Alumnae Foundation, the 36 Holes Stableford Competition was a joyful celebration of health, wellness, and camaraderie while raising funds for the socio-economic programs of the foundation such as medical assistance, livelihood projects, and scholarship grants.

Lawyer Maria Concepcion Jimenez Aquino led the ceremonial tee off as the chairman of the 1st Kolasa Cup. It was followed by Christine Velez Vargas (representing St. Scholastica’s Bacolod Alumnae Foundation), Dr. Olaf Kliesow (CEO and president of Allianz PNB Life Insurance Inc.), Edmund Padilla (representing Divina Law), and ended with a fantastic swing by actor/sports enthusiast Derek Ramsay who has been a constant supporter of the foundation.

The awarding ceremonies concluded the two-day charity event as participants and guests gathered for a fellowship dinner.

More than the prizes won, it was the spirit of service, friendship, and generosity that created the most memorable moments of the 1st ever Kolasa Cup!
