EIGHT surviving teams will play their final game on Saturday, September 29 at Sta. Maria Football Fields in Talisay City with the winners taking the title in four categories: Born 2010 Mix, 2008 Mix, Born 2006 Boys and 2001 Girls.
University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos and Villa Angela FC will dispute the 2010 Mix championship while Pontevedra-B and Don Bosco-A the trophy for 2008 Mix.
For 2006 Boys, University of St. La Salle and Bago will have to prove who is best in their division while Calvary and USLS will settle once and for all the top team for 2001 Girls category.
Those born 2010 Mix saw Pontevedra-B beat Montevista, 4-1, while UNO-R rammed USLS-A in the quarters, 7-2. Villa Angela FC, likewise clipped San Enrique, 4-1, and Don Bosco-B surprised Don Bosco-A, 3-1.
In the semis, UNO-R tamed Pontevedra-B, 3-1 while Villa Angela was too good for Don Bosco-B, 4-1, setting for a final match on Saturday but game time has yet to be finalized by the organizers.
In 2008 Mix, Pontevedra-B outplayed Trinity, 9-2; St. John FC blanked St. Scholastica's Academy, 6-0; Don Bosco-A dominated San Enrique-B, 6-0 and USLS stung Bago, 5-1.
Pontevedra-B then nipped St. John FC, 3-2 while Don Bosco-A annihilated USLS, 9-0, in the semifinals for their final encounter.
For 2006 Boys, USLS shaded Himamaylan, 3-2; Don Bosco stunned San Enrique-B, 3-1; Bago upset UNO-R, 6-5; and Sagay bumped out Trinity, 4-0.
In the semis, USLS trimmed Don Bosco, 5-4 and Bago stayed alive with a 1-0 triumph over Sagay.
The 2001 Girls category saw Calvary winning over KHFC (Canlaon), 1-0; Sagay clipping La Carlota, 4-0; Sagasa side-sweeping UNO-R "A" 4-2 and USLS crushing Bata, 4-3.
Calvary remained in contention after its 1-0 victory over Sagay and USLS whacked Sagasa, 5-2, for a final date in the 2nd conference of Dynamic Football and Negros Occidental Football Association in 2018.
