NINETY summers and still swinging!
When Ellen Dosdos-Climaco entered Salon España of the Casino Español de Cebu dressed in a shimmering, beaded gown, an admiring hush was heard across the ballroom. Who would have thought that this dazzling, slim-as-a-reed, svelte lady was celebrating all of 90 summers!
Indeed, Ellen was the cynosure of all eyes as she sauntered from table to table, greeting and thanking dear family and friends for marking this milestone with her. This was also a thanksgiving event for her long and fulfilled life, vibrant good health and amazing energy... especially doing her favorite sport... ballroom dancing, where she could swing and sway for hours! We were witness to this that evening.
However, last but not least, we would like to toast Ellen for also being the ideal wife to late husband, Julio, and doting mom to nine children—eight sons and a daughter—who that, night beamed proudly as they posed for a memorable family portrait.
