THE University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters and the University of San Jose-Recoletos Jaguars look to solidify their grip of the top two spots in the college division of the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) with wins at the Cebu Coliseum.

UC, still unbeaten in the tournament, faces off with Southwestern University (SWU)-Phinma Cobras in the main game tonight at 6:30 p.m.

UC, mentored by Yayoy Alcoseba, has had an impressive run thus far, winning its first seven games this season. UC felt short of a title last year after losing to defending champion University of the Visayas (UV) Green Lancers.

UC will be relying on its guard-rich rotation and will look to Justine Dacalos, John Jabello, Paul Galinato and Darell Menina to provide the points.

UC is fresh from a 69-65 win over University of San Carlos (USC) Warriors last Saturday.

SWU-Phinma is also coming off a win, after a 64-61 upset of University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF).

USJ-R, in the meantime, takes on USC at 5 p.m.

UC leads the tournament at 7-0 and is followed by USJ-R at 5-2. Two-time champion UV is third at 6-3, the University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) is fourth at 5-4, while USC and SWU are tied at fifth at 2-6. The Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U) is at the bottom with 1-7. (EKA)
