3 Cebu grads in MedTech Licensure Exam top 10

THREE graduates from two medical schools in Cebu City have made it to the top 10 of the Medical Technologist Licensure Examination whose result was released Wednesday, September 26.

The Professional Regulation Commission said in its website that 4,718 out of 6,070 examinees passed the exam that was given this month.

Chris Jeram Carazo Lara of Velez College was ranked seventh in the exam, with a passing rate of 90.40. He was followed at eighth place by Joanna Labajo Canen of Cebu Doctors' University, who got 89.90 percent.

The third Cebu graduate, Justin Riley Yap Lam of Velez College, ranked ninth with 89.80 percent passing rate.

Velez College and Cebu Doctors' University also made it to the top 10 performing schools in the September 2018 exam, as all of their examinees passed the test.

The PRC said that from October 4 to 12, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online.
