MORE and more individuals and groups are visiting Lamut EcoTourism in Barangay Sanafe, Lamut, Ifugao for voluntary tree planting activity.
Lamut Municipal Administrator Carlito Bata said this pursuit is being participated by all agencies and officers of the municipality including those who are from outside the town area.
Other agencies, non-government organizations, barangay officials, and associations of the province like the motor riders are also participating in the activity which aims to preserve the park.
The 27-hectare ecotourism park is a favorite training camp for the DILG particularly by the PNP and other DILG officers of Lamut and the Cordillera Region.
A project inspired by Mayor Mariano Buyagawan, Jr., the place is also a humble contribution of the municipality as an offshoot of the training program of the Duterte administration.
Furthermore, it is in preparation for the greening program of the municipality and likewise the cleanest and greenest efforts of the barangay and the municipality as well.
The undertaking is also a collaboration and in coordination with the local officials including the Vice Mayor, staff, and Sangguniang Bayan.

With all these efforts being done and volunteers supporting the move, the preservation of the Lamut EcoTourism Park will be assured. This will also be enjoyed by the next generations to come.
May similar acts be done to other eco parks in the region including the preservation and protection of all watersheds and forest reservation areas.
