MANILA -- The Liberal Party (LP) is concerned about the result of the Pulse Asia survey showing its standard bearer Senator Noynoy Aquino in a statistical tie with Nacionalista Party bet Senator Manny Villar.
Quezon Representative Lorenzo “Erin” Tañada III, Aquino's spokesperson, said the reason behind it could be that Aquino's message is not resonating with the public.
On contrary, Tañada said the reason behind the boost in Villar's rating is his message is the one that resonates.
Tañada admitted that Villar's "war chest" has a big factor in the recent survey showing, with his multiple advertisements playing many times everyday while Aquino's present advertisement featuring him rapping is only placed in strategic timeslots. (Angela Casauay/Sunnex)
