The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) will be conducting Social Health Insurance and Education Series on October 3 at the L’ Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City.
PhilHealth regional vice president Lourdes Diocson said the activity is intended for members of the local media and Information Officers in Negros Occidental
“We recognize the essential role being played by our partners from the media – broadcast, print and the new platform of social media well as information officers of various agencies of the government and the local government units,” she said.
The activity aims to equip partner-stakeholders with the key concepts of the National Health Insurance Program including updates in policies governing the core process of the corporation.
Close to 50 information officers have already confirmed to attend the one-day activity.
Several PhilHealth executives lead by its executive vice president and chief operations officer Ruben John Basa will be attending the activity. (PR)
