MANILA— Carina Dacer, daughter of the slain Bubby Dacer, said in a television interview that if Senator Panfilo Lacson doesn’t trust the justice system he should have not become a public servant.
This after Lacson left the country two days before two counts of murder cases were filed against him in connection with the November 2000 killing of publicist Salvador “Bubby” Dacer and his driver Emmanuel Corbito.
The Dacer family believes that “Lacson should not have fled and instead face the charges against him.”
In Tuesday’s press briefing at the Department of Justice, state prosecutors earlier found probable cause to indict Lacson for the Dacer-Corbito murders and filed charges against him before the Manila regional trial court.
Lacson's has been included in the Bureau of Immigration's watchlist. (Sunnex)
