Y-Speak: Summer sunset '18.

SUNSETS are special, more special when spent in the presence of people that hold your hand and watch you grow. Metaphorically and otherwise.

They're precious, more when there are streaks across the sky and nothing less than at least five different shades nestled in one another. And you have a minute to take it all in -- on your way back home, when you run errands, or watching it from that desk in your same room.

They are numbered, more so because they can never be enough to write about. And you'll never feel more inspired and exhausted at the same time, watching the day die down and knowing in your head, heart, and your soul that there are things you learnt today that can't be unlearnt.

There are people you met today that you cannot isolate. And there is a little bit of you that stay in the same spot you watched a brilliant sunset from, hoping that you would be back someday. Probably, with the people that you truly care for, with newer lessons that you have learnt along the way, and in the knowledge that time forgives, heals, and fixes you.
