THE Mactan Newtown, Megaworld’s 30-hectare township in Lapu-Lapu City, was a big winner at the 2018 Property and Real Estate Excellence Awards by the International Real Estate Federation, after winning the Outstanding Masterplan Development award.
Along with this, the company also won nine other awards during the gala night, including the first Hall of Fame for Outstanding Developer of the Year, after being named the best developer for three straight years since 2015.
Megaworld chairman Andrew L. Tan also received the first Hall of Fame for Property Man of the Year, while the company’s subsidiary Global-Estate Resorts Inc. was awarded the 2018 Developer of the Year. (PR)
