Cebu hotel eyes Central Luzon traders, tourists

A TOP executive of a hotel in Mandaue City, Cebu province said tourists and businessmen in Central Luzon are among their potential target market.

With daily flights between Clark and Cebu by Philippines AirAsia, Bai Hotel general manager Alfred Reyes said they are planning to establish satellite offices in selected malls in Angeles City to invite traders and tourists to visit the hotel.

Reyes, a former general manager of Widus Hotel located inside the Subic Freeport, issued the statement to a group of mediamen who joined a familiarization tour organized by AirAsia in cooperation with Bai Hotel.

Bai Hotel, a hotel that offers five-star service at the heart of Cebu, is complete with amenities which can accommodate conventions, meetings, and other events, according to him.

Named after the Cebuano word for "friend", Bai Hotel Cebu extends the warmth and hospitality of a beloved friend to all its guests.

Bai Hotel Cebu is currently the biggest hotel outside of Manila with 668 rooms, 12 function rooms, and 8 dining options, Reyes said.

Located at the Mandaue north reclamation area, the hotel offers spectacular harbor and city views with ultra-modern amenities and facilities.

The 23-story property houses a fully equipped fitness center with steam rooms, spa services, kids' room, business center, and serviced offices.

Reyes also mentioned their Ume Japanese Cuisine which offers traditional Japanese cuisine made by their very own resident Japanese chef.

"We also have The Pool Bar located at the 2Ist floor, giving you a wonderful view overlooking the city while you take a dip in the infinity pool," the hotel executive said.

Bai Hotel also maintains an executive lounge which serves complimentary buffet-style breakfast, light refreshments, afternoon tea, cocktails, and beers.

Reyes said they also operates a unique coffee shop, Wallstreet Coffee + Bar, which serves signature selections of a traditional coffee house and an assortment of freshly baked goodies.

One of the main attraction of Bai Hotel is the Twilight Roofdeck Lounge + Bar, best known for its 360-degree view of the city lights, signature cocktails and chill music from the DJ.
