TAU Gamma Phi is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

“Unity is strength... when there is teamwork and collaboration, greater things can be achieved,” the fraternity believes.

In 1968, a fraternity was founded to serve the people by helping them excel in their own endeavor and interests. It struggled to have a solid foundation in its starting years. It especially had a hard time during the Martial Law years where campus organizations were seen as enemies of the state by the Marcos administration.

Despite all of these, the fraternity spread to other colleges and universities as well as community chapters to teach the triskelion way of life to the community. From there the fraternity grew from sporadic chapters inside Manila to big and organized councils inside and outside of the Philippines. Thus from 1968, to its 50th year and beyond, the Tau Gamma Phi would stay true in living the tenets and codes of the fraternity for a better and harmonious global environment.
