USLS, SSA, VMA paddlers rule Nopsscea tablenet

THE University of St. La Salle, St. Scholastica’s Academy, and VMA Global College dominated the recently-staged Negros Occidental School Sports, Cultural and Educational Association (Nopsscea) Season 38 Table Tennis tournament played at VMA Global College gym.

For the team event, USLS paddlers ruled the elementary boys and secondary girls division. Settling for first and second runner-up for the elementary boys are House of Praise Learning Center and SSA, respectively. SSA and VMA also finished the same for the secondary girls.

SSA topped the elementary girls as House of Praise settled for first runner-up while VMA ruled the secondary boys followed by USLS and Bacolod Tay Tung High School.

For the singles event, USLS’ Joaquin Bragancia and Anton Andre Bayona finished 1-2 in the elementary boys while RV Reign Valderama settled for second runner-up.

SSA’s Dianah Aeris Yapiso and Nika Therese Daguia dominated the elementary girls' division as champion and first runner-up, respectively while Jirah Faith Gellecanao of House of Praise finished second.

For the secondary boys, VMA Global College’s Areanel Theoffer Ariola was hailed champion while first runner-up was Meljohn Valdez. USLS’ Micah Tanate ruled the secondary girls while Ayumi Grace Iida finished first runner-up. (HGD)
