THE Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in Eastern Visayas has launched its newest community hotline "Idulog Mo Kay RD" as a feedback mechanism to the public.
"This community hotline is one of our initiatives towards good governance notably that President Rodrigo Duterte had given his challenge of change to the jail bureau. We are asking the help and support of the public to convey their suggestions, complaints, or any concerns to help us improve our work," said Jail Senior Superintendent Felixberto Jagorin Jr., BJMP regional director.
"This will bridge the gap between the public and the jail bureau to register their complaints without having to personally go to our office," added Jagorin in a statement.
Senior Jail Officer 4 Fe Reynalda A Chan, the chief of Community Relations Service in the region, said the hotline is patterned with the Chief BJMPs e-tap project.
The public may send their suggestions or complaints to 0916-944-6288 (Globe) or 0939-814-3640 (Smart).
This project is anchored on the Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007, pursuant to Civil Service Commission Resolution 1400995, stating that all agencies shall provide the public hotline number/s that should be purposely set up to effectively receive feedback and monitor customer satisfaction, said Chan.
All jail wardens in Eastern Visayas were enjoined to display the tarpaulins in their areas and post the same information on their social media platforms to maximize the use of "Idulog Mo Kay RD" project. (SunStar Philippines)
