I hope this finds you well. You can call me Amy. We have cancer running in the family which scares me a lot. I have seen the grief and agony in their journey. Now, I wanted to prevent them, even if it runs in my genes. I want to fight them as much as I can. This is the reason I want to know if there are food which can help me fight cancer.

Dear Amy 468,
I understand how you feel about your family. But, thanks to that fear, because that gave you the courage to get you to fight against cancer.
Our food should be something that we have to check - as there is no single day that passes where we don’t encounter food. But, no matter how pleasurable or disgusting a food is, it is something that we have everyday.
But, remember that there is no single food that can prevent cancer, you have to have the right combination of foods may help make a difference. You need a tag team to hopefully wrestle cancer away. It’s a combo meal, dear. You need a team to fight a tough enemy, like cancer. And again, remember the right combination - not just, any combination.
At mealtimes, you have to strike a balance of at least two-thirds of plant-based foods and no more than one-third from animal protein. This is the new important cancer fighting tool, according to the American Institute for Cancer Research.
But, since we ran out of space this time for me to start with the food combo list, let me continue this in my next column. Until then!
